Go TravelWho can use Go Travel
You must be at least 13 years old to use Go Travel. If you're under the age of adulthood where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they agree to these terms for you.
You can't use Go Travel if we've banned you before, or if the law where you live doesn't allow it.
Your account
Give accurate information when you sign up and keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account. Choose a username that doesn't pretend to be someone else. Tell us at support@gotravelmap.com if you think someone else is using your account.
Your content
You own the pins, photos, reviews and comments you post. By posting them, you give Go Travel a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt (for example resize photos) and share them in order to run, show and promote Go Travel. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content others have already shared or that we must keep by law.
Only post what you have the right to post. Don't upload photos taken by someone else without their permission, and don't post other people's private information.
Place details on Go Travel — opening hours, locations, prices, tips — come from other travelers and public sources. They can be out of date or wrong, so check before you rely on them.
Community rules
Go Travel has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Don't post or do anything that:
- harasses, bullies, threatens or hates on anyone;
- is sexually explicit, violent or graphic;
- is illegal, or promotes dangerous or illegal activity;
- is spam, a scam, fake reviews or misleading;
- shares someone's private information or impersonates them;
- infringes someone else's copyright or other rights;
- tries to break, overload, scrape or get around the security of Go Travel.
Reporting and blocking
If you see something that breaks these rules, email support@gotravelmap.com with the @username or a link to the pin. You can block anyone from their profile (tap ⋯ → Block). We review reports and act on them — removing content and suspending or banning accounts where needed. See Support for how.
Ending your use
You can stop using Go Travel and delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.
We may remove content, or suspend or close an account, if it breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it makes sense, we'll tell you why.
Disclaimers
Go Travel is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that information posted by travelers is correct. Travel safely and use your own judgement: you're responsible for the trips you take and the places you visit.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Go Travel and the people who run it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Go Travel or content posted by others. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that can't be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Go Travel grows. We'll update the date at the top of this page, and for important changes we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Go Travel after that, you accept the new terms.
